Local Historic Landmark Plaque Program – to date 14 properties have been place on the Historic Register.
The 1904 Calaboose has been leased for 99 years from The City of Eagle Lake for restoration and rehabilitation
Assisted in the development of a local tree ordinance to protect our valuable trees in our historic town. This also makes it much more difficult to move a historic home out of our town
Publish Local Historic Landmarks Register on an as needed basis
Purchased six “Historical Markers in City” Signs from Texas Historical Commission for placement at major entrances to city
Historic Research Assistance Program
Sponsored a local workshop in conjunction with the Texas Historical Commission on How To Obtain Texas Historical Markers
